Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system or similar technology.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Serve food and beverages to guests while adhering to food handling and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Work as part of a team to create a positive dining experience for all patrons.
Skills
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with team members.
- Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and culinary practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and processing payments accurately.
- Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation in food service areas.
- Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on helping guests have an enjoyable experience.
