We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cannabis Production Spray Technician to join our night shift team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Cannabis Spray Technician, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the cultivation daytime team and management in ensuring the health and vitality of our cannabis plants during their growth cycle. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Spraying and Pest Control: Applying pesticides, fertilizers, and other necessary substances to protect cannabis plants from pests, diseases, and other potential threats, while following all safety guidelines and regulations.
• Monitoring and Inspection: Conducting routine inspections of cannabis plants to identify signs of infestation, disease, or stress, and promptly reporting any issues to the supervisor.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of spray activities, including product usage, application rates, and any incidents or abnormalities observed during the shift.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other members of the production team to coordinate activities and ensure the overall health and productivity of the cannabis plants. Takeover tasks from daytime cultivation team during transition to night shift hours.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering yourself to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment and tools to ensure they function effectively and safely.
• Equipment Maintenance: Properly maintaining and cleaning spray equipment and tools to ensure they function effectively and safely.
• Facility Cleaning: Cleaning and sterilizing facility areas based on company standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Previous experience in agriculture, horticulture, or cannabis cultivation is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of cannabis cultivation and environmental factors preferred.
• Knowledge of pesticide application and safe handling practices is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills needed to work with cultivation team.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions and schedules accurately.
• Comfortable working night shifts and adhering to a flexible schedule as needed.
• Physical fitness to carry backpack sprayer and fogger.
