Archer Developer (Remote)

We are seeking an Archer Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications that address complex business needs. This role will serve as a key technical contributor responsible for evaluating requirements, developing system solutions, and supporting application enhancements across the organization. The engineer will work closely with business units and technology teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions while providing technical guidance on projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Archer development, Archer SaaS environments, and Azure Functions, and will be comfortable contributing to both new development and ongoing application support.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, develop, and maintain applications that support business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Act as a key technical contributor on projects involving application enhancements, integrations, and new system implementations.
• Develop and maintain solutions within Archer platforms and Archer SaaS environments, integrating with cloud services such as Azure Functions.
• Perform systems analysis to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications, system documentation, and design artifacts.
• Develop, execute, and review test plans, including debugging and troubleshooting application issues.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and technology teams throughout the software development lifecycle, including user acceptance testing.
• Coordinate development tasks and provide technical guidance to less experienced team members.
• Evaluate interactions between systems, applications, and platforms to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Maintain operational effectiveness of supported applications through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Recommend new technologies, processes, or enhancements that improve efficiency and system reliability.
• Participate in project planning activities including task estimation, timelines, and technical deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 5 years of systems analysis or application development experience, or a combination of education and experience totaling 7 years, including 5 years of application development experience.
• 5 years of experience with Archer development.
• 5 years of experience working with Archer SaaS environments.
• Experience developing or integrating solutions using Azure Functions.
• Experience designing and implementing application solutions within enterprise environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating development efforts between application teams and business units.
• Proficiency with common development tools and productivity software.
• Advanced knowledge of applications and platforms within financial services or banking environments is highly preferred.
