What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Massage Therapist position at Sol Impressions Massage Studio?
We're looking for a skilled, compassionate massage therapist to join our wellness team on Main Street in Breckenridge. You'll bring a solid foundation in body mechanics along with a genuine feel for wellness as a whole — able to assess each client's needs and adapt your approach to the person in front of you. Our clientele is a mix of visiting athletes, part-time residents, and locals living at 9,600 feet, so real technical range matters.
What You'll Do
- Conduct client intake to understand individual needs and tailor each session accordingly
- Provide a range of modalities — deep tissue, pain management, relaxation — plus add-ons like aromatherapy, oxygen, and steam when requested
- Create a calm, safe, professional experience, communicating throughout the session to ensure comfort
- Recommend retail products (like our in-house arnica and recovery line) through genuine, low-pressure suggestions — no hard selling
- Keep your treatment room and shared spaces clean, sanitized, and client-ready
- Collaborate respectfully with fellow therapists and front desk for a smooth client experience and a pleasant place to work
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent — clients and teammates can count on you
- Calm and professional no matter what the day holds — busy back-to-back appointments or a slower day
- Comfortable with direct, respectful communication, including hearing and giving feedback
- Works from your own strengths while genuinely functioning as part of a team
Experience & Certifications
- We welcome both new and seasoned massage therapists
- Massage school certificate, Colorado massage license, and liability insurance required
