Job Overview
Sol Smoothie is seeking dependable, energetic, and highly organized full-time & part-time team members to oversee daily shop operations. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, leadership, and the ability to manage both customer service and back-of-house operations.
Duties
- Prepare and serve menu items, including coffee drinks, smoothies, açaí bowls, toast, frozen yogurt, and other food and beverage offerings
- Maintain high standards of customer service, product quality, cleanliness, and presentation
- Operate Clover POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash and card payments with accuracy, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing at shift end.
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with cleaning, washing dishes, garbage removal, and ensuring the café remains tidy and inviting throughout your shift.
- Must be available 8:30am-5:30pm for Full-Time
- Part-time hours 10am-4pm
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & cafe setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math skills for retail math and cash transactions is advantageous.
- Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail environment demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail ensures smooth operations.
- Reliable and punctual

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced food service environment
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Prior café, smoothie bar, and/or food service experience preferred; barista experience a
plus
- Will train the right candidate
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
