We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Attorney with 4-6 years of big law litigation experience to join the Legal Department of our client, a global investment banking organization, in New York City. The attorney will manage and oversee litigation, regulatory inquiries, internal investigations, and dispute-related matters across the firm’s businesses, including securities, investment banking, capital markets, trading, asset management, and corporate operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee litigation matters, including securities litigation and commercial disputes,
- Work closely with external counsel on strategy, filings, discovery, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
- Lead or support internal investigations involving potential misconduct, policy violations, operational errors, or trading issues.
- Advise business units on litigation risks, dispute-avoidance strategies, and regulatory exposure related to products, transactions, and policies.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the New York Bar
- 4–6 years of litigation experience at a top law firm; experience with securities litigation or financial-services disputes strongly preferred.
