The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced auditor (5 years) with direct CIRA (Condo/HOA) experience to join our growing audit practice. This is not a generic audit role. You will work exclusively on condominium and HOA engagements, gain deep industry specialization, and take ownership of engagements from planning through issuance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute audit, review, and compilation engagements for condominium and HOA clients
- Plan and perform audits in accordance with GAAS, including risk assessment and substantive testing
- Analyze financial statements, reserves, assessments, and industry-specific transactions
- Supervise staff, review workpapers, and ensure quality control standards are met
- Communicate directly with boards, property managers, and client stakeholders
- Assist with technical research and development of audit procedures specific to CIRAs
Requirements
- 5 years of public accounting audit experience
- MANDATORY: Condo/HOA (CIRA) audit experience
- Strong understanding of: Fund accounting, Reserve studies & special assessments, and Florida statutory reporting requirements
- CPA license (or actively pursuing)
- Ability to manage engagements independently
