Join the team at SoJo’s Smoothie Cafe! We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic team member who enjoys working with people and can help create a welcoming experience for every customer. You’ll prepare smoothies, açaí bowls, and other menu items while providing great customer service and keeping the café clean and organized.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Prepare smoothies, açaí bowls, refreshers, and other menu items according to our recipes
- Take customer orders and operate our POS/register system
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Keep the café, counters, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Restock ingredients, cups, supplies, and other inventory as needed
- Follow proper food-handling and sanitation procedures
- Learn our menu and confidently answer customer questions
- Recommend menu items and add-ons when appropriate
- Complete opening and/or closing responsibilities depending on the scheduled shift
- Work independently during certain shifts and stay productive during slower periods
- Help create a positive, upbeat environment for customers and coworkers
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers
- Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
- Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Able to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
- Previous food service, café, restaurant, or customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- Must be able to maintain a clean and sanitary workspace
- Weekend/Saturday availability is preferred

SoJo’s Smoothie Cafe is a locally owned small business located inside LA Fitness in Greensburg we are open to the public and no gym membership is required. We’re looking for someone reliable who wants to be part of our growing café and provide a great experience for our customers.
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
