Production Team Member (Forklift Opperatior)

Job Description:

Production Associate is responsible for the efficient and orderly flow of inbound/outbound freight/orders. The associate will follow company guidelines to insure customer satisfaction, quality, and help to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
In addition, provide administrative support activities for all members of the Soilworks team in order to meet or exceed company sales and profit objectives.

Responsibilities:

Core Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Loading and unloading of product in bulk and in tote containers
• Maintaining accurate equipment, maintenance, transportation and applications logs on a daily basis
• Follow and monitor quality control starts and procedures (SOPs).
• Work accurately with others both internal and external to prepare product and equipment for projects.
• Complying with company safety guidelines and participating in department safety meetings.
• Understands and acknowledges company policies regarding guidelines and restrictions on communicating any sensitive company information to contacts inside or outside of Soilworks.
• Communicates effectively with business contacts, co-workers, and Manager on a daily basis to insure good business practices are followed and customer satisfaction is achieved.
• Read, understand and follow Scope of Work documents for all jobs in advance and during jobs.
• Identify and escalate to Manager, Quality Control or job issues as they may occur.
• Responsible for helping to maintain equipment, tools, and construction facility to prepare for upcoming projects efficiently and effectively.

• Ability to work full time
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time
• Accurate, timely receipt of inbound freight including scaling loads, quality control, paperwork, product put way in designated locations and logged for inventory
• Accurately prepare shipments for customers both internally and external through standardized procedures
• Comply with all Soilworks and OSHA safety guidelines
• Ability to lift 55 pounds
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to perform job duties in outdoor weather conditions
• Ability to operate various mechanical equipment
• Must be Forklift Certified
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions from internal standard operating procedures to obtain daily work assignments and complete them accurately and quickly
• Ability to problem solve
• Professional and have a positive attitude
• Computer skills favorable

Educational Requirements

High school Diploma or general education degree (GED)
