Global Finance Director
Location: SOI Aviation – Los Angeles
Reports to: Board of Directors, CEO and Family Leadership
Works closely with: Chief of Staff, External Accountants, Global Office Managers, Legal Advisors, Family Leadership
Role Overview
The Global Finance Director will oversee the financial operations of all group entities (USA, UK, Singapore, NZ) and support the developing Family Office structure. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for cash flow, banking oversight, financial reporting, intercompany coordination, investment support, and real estate financial administration.
This position is ideal for a highly capable finance professional who thrives in a multi-entity, fast-moving environment and is looking to grow into a future CFO role as the Family Office expands.
Core Responsibilities1. Banking & Payments Management
- Oversee day-to-day banking activities across business and family entities.
- Maintain secure user access, approvals, and documentation for all accounts.
- Process and schedule transfers, payments, and intercompany movements.
- Ensure all accounts are reconciled accurately and on time.
2. Cash Flow & Financial Operations
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and expense workflows globally.
- Maintain a consolidated cash flow dashboard with real-time visibility.
- Coordinate with global offices to ensure timely submission of financial data.
- Prepare monthly cash flow summaries and financial snapshots.
3. Intercompany Loans & Investments Support
- Track all loan balances, payments, and terms across the group.
- Maintain reporting for the AOG sinking fund and related contributions.
- Assist in preparing financial models and investment briefs for leadership.
- Support analysis on new business opportunities, acquisitions, and asset decisions.
4. Real Estate Financial Administration
- Maintain a global register of family and business-owned properties.
- Track rental income, expenses, insurance, loan schedules, and key dates.
- Process and schedule all property-related payments.
- Support ROI reviews and financial evaluations for developments or sales.
5. Financial Reporting & Compliance Coordination
- Work with external accountants and auditors to ensure accurate month-end and year-end reporting.
- Oversee bookkeeping standards across all entities (Pentagon or similar).
- Coordinate tax filings, compliance requirements, and regulatory submissions with local advisors.
- Support preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
6. Family Office Support
- Serve as a point of coordination for any financial or administrative initiatives involving family leadership.
- Assist with feasibility reviews, projections, or cost analyses for proposed investments or ventures.
- Maintain documentation and support structures related to trusts, wealth planning, and personal financial administration.
- Help establish long-term processes and financial systems as the Family Office evolves.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA preferred but not required).
- 7 years of finance or accounting experience, ideally with exposure to multi-entity or international structures.
- Strong skills in cash flow management, financial reporting, and operational accounting.
- Comfortable working hands-on within banking portals, Excel/BI dashboards, and financial systems.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential financial information.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to operate with minimal oversight.
- Interest in growing into a future CFO role as the Family Office expands.
