Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Engineering, Information Technology or similar
Typically has 3-5 years in developing innovative, technical products
Knowledge of several software development life cycle methodologies; Agile SCRUM is desirable.
Responsibilities:
The FedLine Applications Product Owner team requires an experienced Product Analyst to support the critical migration of FedLine applications, from on-premises infrastructure to the Cloud. For instance, one of the FRFS FedLine applications serves as the central "data hub" for profile and user information, including RTN (Routing Transit Number) and user updates, which are ingested or received by various systems internally at the Federal Reserve.
Primary Focus Areas
Documentation Requirements (Critical Priority)
The analyst must excel at creating comprehensive, high-quality documentation, including but not limited to:
• Use Cases: Detailed scenarios for all Compass data distribution patterns and information flows to consuming applications
• Requirements Documentation: Complete functional and non-functional requirements for the cloud environment
• Process Flows: End-to-end mapping of current and future state information routing and update processes
• Interface Specifications: Detailed documentation of all integrations with FRFS, non-FRFS, and Treasury applications
• Workflow Diagrams: Visual representation of RTN and user update pipelines and distribution patterns
• Data Mapping Documentation: Source-to-target mapping for profile and user information migration
• Consumer Impact Analysis: Documentation of downstream dependencies and consuming systems
• Error Handling Documentation: Exception scenarios and resolution procedures for information distribution failures
• User Guides and Training Materials: Documentation for internal stakeholders and end users
• Technical Specifications: Architecture diagrams, data models, integration patterns, and system configurations
• Migration Runbooks: Step-by-step procedures for migration execution with minimal disruption to consuming systems
• Validation and Testing Documentation: Test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria including consumer validation
• Confluence site maintenance: Ensure documentation is versioned and published via team communication channels.
Additionally, the analyst will work with the current Product Owner on tasks such as
• supporting the development of product documentation such as epics and user stories
• grooming backlogs
• elaborating requirements
• supporting prototyping/release planning/road-mapping
• prioritization and sequencing of features/stories
• business coordination of demos and user feedback sessions
• provides ongoing expertise and guidance on best usage practices
