Server / Waiter / Waitress (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Job Summary
We are a new Asian Fusion restaurant. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers / Waiters / Waitresses to join our dynamic team in a vibrant dining environment. Whether full-time or part-time, this role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced setting. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere. Experience with various POS systems and food industry standards is highly valued. The position involves delivering memorable dining experiences, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system-menusifu
• Experience in Asian or Chinese restaurant service preferred
• Understanding of Chinese dishes and ability to recommend menu items to guests.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to fo
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS or cashiering systems
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including dining rooms, bar, and side stations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure a positive experience
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation standards

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or Asian restaurants.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Menusifu POS, Aloha POS, or OpenTable is advantageous
• Experience with food safety protocols and sanitation practices is beneficial
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests effectively
• Ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of upselling techniques and sales strategies within the food industry is a plus
• Prior experience in nightlife venues like nightclubs or host/host roles can be an asset but is not required
