Hostess/Cashier

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Handle cash and process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area and dining space.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality to create memorable experiences for guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting, is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• A genuine desire to help others and provide excellent guest services.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
