Role: Solution Architect
Summary
Candidate will be responsible for the architecture supporting a large-scale enterprise initiative, which touches virtually every aspect of the insurance value chain. This role requires a diverse set of technical skills, including cloud-native development in AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway), TypeScript and Java (J2EE, Spring, etc.) development in CloudFoundry. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with aligned solution engineers and architects to support software delivery and ensure implementations are in alignment with North Star Architecture.
- Promote a culture that values architectural simplicity and reuse of existing solutions.
- Communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
- Build positive relationships with engineers and business partners to accelerate delivery.
- Lead technology proofs of concept and benchmarks to validate architecture solutions.
- Display strong thought leadership in pursuit of modern architecture principles and technology modernization

Must Haves
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications using AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, API Gateway, and other AWS services
- Experience designing and deploying scalable applications with Java and Spring
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met and to deliver scalable solutions
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript
- Proven experience leading and mentoring development teams
