We're looking for a medical content and program development expert to support Everlywell on a flexible, as-needed basis. This contract role is ideal for a clinically-minded writer or healthcare professional who can quickly orient to our programs and produce high-quality work with minimal ramp-up time.

Engagements will vary month to month based on active project needs, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours.
Clinical Content Development

Clinical Content Development
- Researching, drafting, and editing clinical content for accuracy and audience for patients, providers, and general consumers
- Creating or refining scripts tied to diagnostic results and clinical care programs
- Reviewing and updating existing content for clinical accuracy, health literacy, and alignment with current guidelines
- Supporting product detail pages, blog posts, engagement communications, and patient-facing care plan language
- Conducting targeted literature reviews and telehealth industry research to support new or evolving clinical programs and topic areas
- Translating clinical requirements into clear, usable program summaries or workflow visuals
- Identifying gaps in existing clinical documentation and recommending improvements
- Supporting training and reference materials for internal teams or healthcare providers
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, journalism, or equivalent professional experience
- 3 years of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology, regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA), and clinical references such as PubMed and UpToDate
- Demonstrated agility and understanding in leveraging AI tools and technical resources for efficient medical content review, writing, and editing
- Exceptional written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex medical and scientific information into clear, engaging content
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Comfortable managing deliverables across a variable, project-based schedule
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or equivalent
