Transportation required - Field Work
- Primary Responsibilities Receive, log, stock, and track equipment and inventory at the Somerville warehouse
- Pick, pack, ship, stage, and receive equipment for deployment and return
- Support recycling, disposal, and general warehouse organization
- Transport equipment between the warehouse and designated customer locations
- Assist with loading, unloading, and secure handling of equipment during transport
- Support on-site equipment handling at customer locations as required
- Maintain accurate records related to inventory, deliveries, and returns
- Provide support for Van driver with deliveries and pickups
- Onsite & Scheduling Expectations Work is performed on-site at the Somerville warehouse and customer locations
- Primary work area is the Greater Boston area, with occasional travel
- Must be punctual and available during scheduled onsite hours
- Schedules may vary based on delivery windows, warehouse operations, and customer availability, and may require after-hours or weekend work to perform tasks that cannot be completed during standard business hours
- Cross-Coverage & Backfill Will provide operational backfill and cross-coverage for one another as directed by the supervisory team
- Temporary performance of overlapping duties may be required, provided such duties fall within the resource’s qualifications, training, and safety requirements
- Compliance, Safety & Security Must comply with all customer health, safety, and security protocols
- Must follow hospital and clinical environment policies, including required PPE
- Proof of seasonal flu vaccination is required
- Must comply with site access, check-in, and security procedures
- Complete HIPAA training
- Additionally, client will conduct a Background Investigation, CORI, and driver’s record check
- Customer Interface Requires customer-provided access to facilities, systems, and escorts where applicable
- Professional conduct is required at all times
- Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, as required by client insurance and fleet policies, for operation of an client -provided van
- Reliable transportation required (Somerville location is not easily accessible by public transportation)
- Skills & Experience Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze operational or safety issues and initiate corrective action
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Experience with ServiceNow (ticket/work request tracking) is a plus
- Forklift certification is a plus for warehouse-focused work
- Strong punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail
- Familiarity with GPS and routing tools for driving related tasks
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
- Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Work may occur in warehouse, office, hospital, and clinical environments
- Must be able to stand, walk, crouch, and handle equipment for extended periods
- Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
