We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify a hands-on ERP Business Analyst to support and enhance a complex ERP environment at a key production site in San Diego.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to operations—working directly with plant teams, troubleshooting real-time issues, and continuously improving ERP-driven processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as the primary on-site ERP resource supporting daily Epicor system usage across manufacturing operations
- Troubleshoot functional issues, resolve system challenges, and ensure smooth day-to-day performance
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to gather requirements and improve workflows
- Configure and enhance Epicor modules to support evolving business needs
- Support a highly customized environment, ensuring stability and usability across multiple configurations
- Deliver user training, documentation, and ongoing support to increase system adoption
- Partner with IT and external vendors to address complex issues and system updates
- Participate in ERP-related initiatives, including future system upgrades and optimization efforts
- Monitor data integrity and system performance, proactively identifying areas for improvement
What You Bring
- Strong hands-on experience with Epicor ERP (or Kinetic, or Infor LN or Eclipse or Prophet 21) in a manufacturing environment
- Functional knowledge across key modules, including MES and Engineering-related tools
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Experience supporting customized ERP environments with multiple enhancements
- Proven ability to work directly with end users in a production setting (training on how to use the system)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, on-site environment
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
