SaaS Engineer (Icertis)

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a SaaS Engineer (Icertis) for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients. This is a hybrid position at any of the client's office sites.

Join as an engineer responsible for developing, administering, and ensuring quality across our Icertis platform and other SaaS platforms. You'll translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions while maintaining platform integrity through rigorous testing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities :

Strategic Development & Design

• Partner with Product Management, Legal, Compliance, and business stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure clarity before development
• Transform complex business requirements into robust technical specifications for software components and applications
• Provide guidance considering maintainability, scalability, and compatibility with future upgrades
• Maintain and provide visuals of the technical architecture of our Icertis ICI platform
  
  

Platform Configuration & Development

• Contribute to adoption of AI-driven engineering practices
• Supervise any AI functionality that Icertis enables for both existing processes and potentially new tools
• Configure Icertis using best practices—balancing functionality with minimal complexity
• Mentor team members on Icertis development best practices
• Configure data models, attributes, masterdata, contract types, and rules framework
• Ensure data integrity, traceability, and auditability across contract lifecycle workflows
• Design authentication mechanisms, roles, and permissions integrated with our Identity and Access Management platform via automated sync
• Maintain and update integrations between Icertis and enterprise systems for seamless data flow and automation using customized REST APIs
  
  

Analytics & Reporting

• Design and maintain reports, workspaces, dashboards, and data visualizations
• Provide end users with actionable insights into platform performance and usage
  
  

Quality Assurance & Maintenance

• Conduct comprehensive testing including peer reviews and regression testing
• Troubleshoot automated test cases to maintain platform reliability
• Support Icertis platform upgrades, releases, and environment management
• Participate in testing platform upgrades and patches to ensure business continuity
• Execute timely updates including password rotations and other adaptive maintenance
• Work in Agile/DevOps delivery framework and manage change activities within FINRA's JIRA instance, including risk evaluation and approvals
• Maintain and orchestrate migration of changes through the development, test, and production environments
  
  

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Create and maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
• Provide training to end-users and stakeholders
• Investigate and resolve complex technical and production issues with the appropriate level of urgency through systematic troubleshooting using logs and debugging tools including root cause analysis (coordinate with Icertis support when needed)
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements and optimizations
• Adapt effectively to changing priorities in an evolving environment
  
  

Required Skills :

• 5 years of enterprise SaaS implementations, preferably in regulated environments
• 3 years hands-on technical experience with Icertis Contract Intelligence (ICI)
• Deep understanding of Icertis data architecture, rules framework, and technical configurations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated success designing, developing, and deploying at least 2 large-scale projects end-to-end
• Practical experience following iterative and agile SDLC practices
• Hands-on experience implementing Icertis integrations with other applications/platforms
• Willingness to learn other SaaS products and expand technical expertise
• Familiarity with AI concepts and tools
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a customer service orientation
  
  

Preferred Skills :

• Icertis Developer or Solution Architect Certification
• 8 years of IT/software experience
• Hands-on API development experience
• Experience evaluating or implementing AI-powered features in enterprise applications
• Experience supporting other SaaS products such as ServiceNow, Regology, or NAVEX
• Experience with Agile collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Miro)
