Pricing Operations Analyst

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Pricing Operations Analyst for a Contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Jose, CA. This is a Hybrid role!

As a member of the Volume and Scale Pricing Frameworks Team, you will play a key role in supporting the business decisions for our fastest growing portfolio of products. In this role, you will support Pricing Operation managers and leadership in core functions related to SKU creation and pricing while optimizing standard processes with a focus on documentation. Key goals for this role would be to focus on execution of the operational tasks required, while collaborating with internal teams, including product/technical operations, revenue accounting, sales operations, legal counsel, customer care, and others to solve business problems, knock down operational barriers, and improve process efficiencies/effectiveness. This role will also focus heavily on project management in addition to building and documenting repeatable processes to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities :

• Create, implement, and manage test SKUs and pricing, in support of launches and programs.
• Coordinate and support operational aspects of the Volume and Scale product lifecycle.
• Perform audits related to the standard launch process.
• Project planning to implement business decisions, including key milestones, and drive progress to achieve project goals and timelines.
• Work cross-functionally and effectively communicate to all upstream/downstream stakeholders, to ensure understanding of strategy, project plan, and impacts.
• Evaluate existing processes, procedures, and operational challenges. Identify and document cross-functional process improvement and adoption of best practices (processes, tools) to improve overall operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  

Required Skills :

• 2 years of experience in an operational role, prioritizing and managing projects, with accuracy and diligence.
• Experience driving processes, and consistently meeting established key milestones.
• Flexible and creative mind-set, to drive best practice solutions to a wide variety of business and technical challenges.
• Passion for process improvement and proven capability to develop documentation to drive change.
• Meticulous attention to detail, analytical skills and auditing experience required.
• Advanced knowledge and fluency with Excel, Workfront, Confluence/Wiki, SAP, Sharepoint required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience creating training documentation/curriculum a plus.
