Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership & Delivery
- Drive planning and execution of the product roadmap in partnership with Product Management, Design, Architecture, Engineering, and business enablement teams.
- Develop and manage all aspects of large, multi‐team programs: detailed plans, schedules, risks, mitigations, status reporting, executive updates, and roadmap alignment.
- Serve as the authoritative source of truth for program state, dependencies, risks, and opportunities across in‐flight and upcoming work.
- Navigate competing priorities and tight timelines to deliver high‐impact outcomes.
- Technical & Strategic Insight
- Maintain a deep, end‐to‐end technical understanding of the solutions being built - including upstream and downstream dependencies - and drive the organizational changes needed to support them.
- Guide programs through the full lifecycle of AI feature development: hypothesis validation, fine‐tuning, evaluations, velocity improvements, requirements gathering, risk assessment, and resource planning.
- Understand and influence strategies for early feature market‐fit identification.
- Cross‐Functional Influence & Communication
- Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels - from individual contributors to VPs -ensuring alignment, clarity, and momentum.
- Develop materials tailored for diverse audiences, from executive‐level presentations to detailed documentation for engineering teams.
- Facilitate cross‐team collaboration, surfacing and resolving assumptions, gaps, and blockers across a complex matrixed environment.
- Operational Excellence
- Define and drive the processes (both new and current) to coordinate, communicate, and resolve cross‐team issues.
- Proactively identify risks and work with teams to mitigate them before they become issues.
- Continuously inspect what's working and what's not, adapting processes to improve velocity and outcomes.
- Establish and lead a coalition of cross‐functional leaders to ensure cohesive execution of the overall plan.
- Leads complex engineering programs from concept through delivery, aligning technical execution with business strategy
- Drives cross‐functional collaboration across engineering, product, design, and operations to deliver scalable solutions
- Translates ambiguous requirements into structured roadmaps, milestones, and measurable success criteria
- Manages program scope, risks, dependencies, and budgets across multiple concurrent technical workstreams
- Implements engineering‐focused program governance, reporting, and decision‐making frameworks
- Optimizes development processes using Agile, Scrum, and Lean practices to improve velocity and quality
- Partners with engineering leaders to plan capacity, allocate resources, and balance short‐term delivery with long‐term architecture needs
- Leads organizational change initiatives, enabling teams to adopt new tools, processes, and operating models
- Facilitates clear communication between technical and non‐technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment at all levels
- Champions continuous improvement, operational excellence, and data‐driven decision‐making across engineering programs
