Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is searching for a Junior Communications & Employee Engagement Specialist for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in Dallas, TX.
This role will support the internal communications and employee engagement initiatives for the client's Global Banking, Markets, and Wealth Technology organization. The successful candidate will work closely with senior communications leadership to help execute communication strategies, support internal events, and assist with employee engagement programs across a global technology organization.

Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of internal communications initiatives that promote organizational alignment, engagement, and transparency across teams.
- Assist in drafting and editing executive communications, leadership messages, announcements, and employee updates.
- Help coordinate corporate events and engagement activities, including town halls, leadership forums, and employee programs.
- Support the preparation of presentations and communication materials, including PowerPoint decks and internal messaging.
- Assist in managing communication calendars and coordinating messaging across leadership teams.
- Help monitor employee feedback and engagement channels to identify opportunities for improved communication.
- Support PR and external communications initiatives, including research and coordination with media or communications partners when needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help deliver clear and consistent messaging across the organization.
- Assist with content development for internal platforms, newsletters, and communication campaigns.
- Support the planning and logistics of community engagement, volunteer events, and employee recognition initiatives.
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey messages to a broad audience.
- Experience creating or supporting PowerPoint presentations, internal communications, or marketing materials.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn within a fast-paced enterprise environment
- Internship or early career experience supporting corporate communications or employee engagement initiatives.
- Experience helping coordinate corporate events, town halls, or employee programs.
- Exposure to social media, digital communications, or content development.
- Experience working within large corporate or financial services environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
