Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous maintenance experience, be proficient with a variety of hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints, repair manuals, and technical documentation. Construction experience is preferred for projects requiring professional repairs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
- Complete basic repairs and general maintenance tasks.
- Perform professional repairs as needed; construction experience is preferred.
- Repair and maintain machines, equipment, and building structures.
- Diagnose maintenance issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Document completed maintenance work and report any major repair needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in building or equipment maintenance.
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Experience using common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices.
- Experience performing preventive and routine maintenance.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and stay focused with minimal supervision.
- Construction experience is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
