- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (Day & Night shifts available)
- Start Date: ASAP
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
- Assess, monitor, and document residents' health conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident care.
- Respond promptly to changes in residents' conditions and medical emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Educate residents and families regarding care plans and treatments.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Supervise and support CNA and LPN staff as needed.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Maine (or compact license if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
