Position Details
- Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Facility: Mountain View Center
- Location: Rutland, VT 05701
- Contract Duration: 8 weeks with possible extension
- Schedule: 5 days per week
- Shifts Available: Day, Evening, and Night (8-hour shifts)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $30–$36 per hour (depending on shift)
- Overtime: 1.5× regular hourly rate after 40 hours worked in a week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
- Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting safety and dignity.
Requirements
- Active Vermont LPN License.
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (preferred).
- Previous experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation is preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
