Role: Windows Performance / Validation / Lab Test Engineer
Location – Redmond, WA, USA . Must operate from Redmond 5 days a week.
Required skills
Windows deployment, imaging, drivers, firmware, feature flags, and Insider builds.
Performance, memory, power, boot, logon, app-launch, and responsiveness testing.
Test automation with PowerShell, Python, or comparable tooling.
Controlled experiment design, data analysis, and reproducibility.
Multi-device lab operations across Intel, AMD, and Arm64 systems.
High-frame-rate or synchronized side-by-side video capture.
Clear protocol, methodology, limitation, and evidence-package documentation.
Ability to translate technical results into defensible customer-facing evidence.
Strong confidentiality, artifact management, and cross-functional communication.
Ability to file actionable bugs with clear reproduction steps, logs, traces, and supporting evidence.
