Type: Full-time (open to contract)

About the Role

Join a team building and testing high-performance Wi-Fi products. You’ll own troubleshooting, verification, and automation to improve reliability, speed, and user experience.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with Product & Engineering to translate requirements into testable designs.
• Reproduce, debug, and drive resolution of product defects (RCA).
• Review requirements/specs with a focus on architecture, testability, and verification.
• Define QA philosophies and test strategies; contribute to automated test coverage.
• Execute/maintain Wi-Fi test automation; track industry trends (IEEE, WFA, WBA, IETF).
• Partner with vendors/technology partners to make architecture decisions and resolve issues.

Must-Have Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Solid understanding of 802.11 WLAN technologies and IP networking protocols.
• 3–5 years in networking/wireless engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Scripting experience (e.g., Python/Shell) at a moderate level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Reliable, consistent attendance; flexibility for variable schedules.

Nice to Have

• Home networking experience (Bluetooth, Matter, Wi-Fi, etc.).
• Broadband product testing (DOCSIS, Ethernet, cable modem standards).
• Hands-on device/consumer product testing for high-performance applications.
• Background in automated product test environments; ability to assist with test automation/maintenance.
• Experience working with partner/vendor teams to troubleshoot and influence architecture.
• Familiarity with data-science tools, scripting, or programming languages.

Tools/Knowledge (plus)

• Wi-Fi test automation frameworks; packet capture/analysis; lab instrumentation.
• Understanding of QA metrics, regression strategies, and continuous improvement.
