Maintenance Technician - I

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, HVAC, and industrial maintenance. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs as needed. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Fabricate parts and components as necessary to support maintenance activities.
• Perform repairs on HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with other technicians to address mechanical issues in industrial settings.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance tasks.

Skills

• Proficient in technical sales related to maintenance services and products.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting skills using voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Experience in fabricating parts for machinery or equipment.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, including HVAC/R applications.
• Background as an industrial electrician or industrial mechanic is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.91 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
