Responsibilities
- Perform garment alterations, repairs, and customizations based on customer specifications,Perform fittings as per client needs
- Experience with wedding dresses and formal gowns and all kinds of garments.
- Alteration Skills : Suits, Bridal Dresses, Jackets,Shirts,Pants,Zippers etc
- Operate sewing machines efficiently and safely to produce high-quality finished products
- Measure clients accurately and interpret design requirements for proper fitting
- Ensure all garments are constructed according to design specifications and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sewing stations and tools
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide professional advice on garment adjustments
- Keep detailed records of work performed for each client
Requirements
- Proven experience in sewing, garment construction, or tailoring, preferably within fashion retail
- Proficiency with sewing machines and various sewing techniques
- Strong understanding of garment fitting, pattern adjustments, and fabric handling
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Basic math skills for taking measurements and calculating fabric requirements
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in fashion retail is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 48.0 per week
