Automation QA Tester

Onsite role. In-Person Interview.Candidate must have technical proficiency for testing Software Applications along with proficiency in Jira. Candidates should be able to participate in the entire development lifecycle from design through deployment. Ability to perform requirements review, write test cases, automate test cases, execute test cases, and create defects is essential. Be able to communicate to the Project Team for defects/issues identified during testing.The QA Tester will work in an Agile Team environment to perform software application testing to verify and validate the application requirements are covered, to and improve our internal and client-facing environment.The QA Tester will be working in a supportive and fast-paced team with the development team and opportunities to increase your professional knowledge.The Candidate will be responsible for the following:Performing Software Application Testing ofcustomized solutions within the software platform to support critical businessfunctions and meet the project objectives, client use requirements and companygoalsWrite automated test scripts based on the User Stories and develop a methodologyCommunication with project management, clients, and other developers to ensure effective collaboration throughout the testing phase as a team playerKnowledge of the database understanding and schemas to validate the test resultsKnowledge in API testing and understanding the wireframes in Figma/XD.Maintaining a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully.Direct interaction with clients, managers, and end users is necessary to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications, and interactions with internal and external instances.Collaboration with various internal departments,including development and operations, to ensure new DMV application supportsinternal needs relating to functionality and performance.Minimum Qualifications / SkillsBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field8 years’ experience in software testing / QA.Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (JIRA).Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, ACCELQ).Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).Must worked with version control.Excellent verbal/written communication skills.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail.Preferred / Desirable QualificationsAutomation testing experience (e.g. Selenium, ACCELQ).Security testing knowledge.Experience in REST API along with integration testing.Skills:6 years Extensive experience with Microfocus Test Tools ALM6 years Experience with Jira10 years Extensive experience in Testing Reports.10 years Good SQL skills to write SQLs to fetch data from PS tables, for validating table data and testing.10 years Communication with project management, clients, and other developers to ensure effective collaboration throughout the testing phase.10 years Candidates should be able to participate in the entire development lifecycle from design through deployment.8 years Ability to perform requirements review, write test cases, execute test cases, and create defects is essential.6-10 yrs. adapting functional business requirements/processes to technical solutions based upon enterprise application solution sets6-10 yrs. experience with one or more of following: investment analysis, data warehousing, e-commerce, ROI analysis, HR analysis, info dissemination6-10 yrs. experience with ERP management processes such as knowledge mgmt., supply chain mgmt., material mgmt., logistics, and procurement - Highly desiredBachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience Company DescriptionServing Commercial, State, & Government Organizations With Right People & Technology
