Softlight Features is casting models in small towns across the southeast for March ’26 Photoshoots. Local Models are encouraged to apply.
This opportunity is part of an ongoing cultural exploration photography project and Videography Series titled “Small Town Snapshots”. The collection investigates new lands, as the viewers of this special will be on the west coast. Some speaking required but minimal. Authentic rhythms, movement, and individuality through classic portrait and freestyle imagery. This session serves as a test shoot to refine venue specifications as well as recruit potential candidates to our talent ageny for future shoots planned throughout 2026-2027. SoftLight Smalltowns Artist Collective will be casting for shoots routinely in your area over the next 7 months
- The pay is $50 - 100 per hour for a two to four hour shoot. Participants will be photographed in both natural-light and studio environments. The work emphasizes simplicity, grace, and natural expression —no lewd or suggestive content. All sessions are conducted in a professional, respectful atmosphere, with complete attention to the model’s comfort level. Master photographer with over 50 years experience will be doing the shooting.
No formal training is required, as the premise of the shoot is intended to capture individuality of small town neighbors and provide a snapshot of a person. Authenticity and confidence in front of the camera are most important. Applicants must be over 18 years old or older. Must bring government approved ID.
