We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
The Superintendent will play a key role in managing day-to-day job site activities, supervising crews, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations and ensure work is performed according to project schedules and quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify issues, and communicate updates to Project Managers and stakeholders.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, logs, and time tracking.
- Promote a positive and collaborative job site culture focused on safety, efficiency, and quality.
Qualifications
- 5 years of construction supervision experience required.
- Experience in heavy civil construction preferred.
- Background in dam, hydroelectric, marine, geotechnical, or tunneling projects is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
