Boba Tea barista at Softea

Tea Members! We are looking for a friendly, quick learner, organized, team player to manage, prepare and serve cold beverages, like bubble tea, smoothies, hot lattes, and soft serve ice cream!

⭐️This location is located in the Heart of Downtown Vancouver Washington.

• Softea offers a variety of unique handcrafted drinks that range from milk teas, brewed teas, fresh fruit teas, matcha and more! The use of high-quality ingredients, real fruit, and in-house purees work together to create a fun spin on the traditional drink.
• We differentiate ourselves with fresh ingredients, great-tasting unique drinks, ambient music, clean & cozy surroundings, and fast friendly service. Our Boba is made from scratch every 4 hours with the freshest ingredients all the way from Taiwan.
• Softea offers a variety of soft serve flavors as well! We also have dairy free soft serve including dole pineapple.

In this role, you should:

• Quick learner on Bubble tea recipes
• Courteous, professional and friendly customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn how to brew tea and mix drinks in 10 days
• Ability to work well with teammates and supervisor.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including opening and closing duties
• Members should have outstanding people skills, love interacting with customers.

Softea Team Members should expect:

• Taking orders, make drinks to order, and modify drinks to customer specifications.
• Operate cash registers/POS systems and credit card machines.
• Cook boba and other toppings, brew tea, replenish supplies.
• Clean tea machineries, soft serve machine, front work stations and back preparation areas during a normal shift.
• Ensure an excellent drinking experience for our guests.

Qualifications:

• Age 16
• This position is NOT a seasonal job, we are looking for people who can commit for at least 1 year.
• All Team Members will be trained but we require at least 1 job in beverage making or dessert shop.
• Dependable, responsible, and self-motivated
• Friendly with a good personality
• Be a team player who works well with others
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment
• Able to multitask
• Able to handle constructive criticism
• Neat appearance and good hygiene
• Must have reliable transportation

Team Members responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Adhering to all store policies and procedures.
• Making quality beverages
• Brew tea, cook boba, prep items ...etc.
• Take the cash register orders
• Cleaning and stocking the store
• Make and prep items in a timely manner
• Team Members must do all of these tasks quickly and efficiently while also making sure to form good customer relationships.
• Maintain store overall cleanliness at all times
• Assist in restocking ingredients
• Assist in inventory control
• Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation workstations.
• Follow all food health and safety requirements.
• Closing shift: Clean/sanitize customer areas, back of house (kitchen), and restroom
