Job Overview
We are currently hiring Qualified Mental Health Professionals and QMHP-Trainees to provide Mental Health Skill-Building Services (MHSS) to adults in their homes and communities. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated professionals who are passionate about serving vulnerable populations and want flexible, meaningful work.
Duties
- Provide individualized skill-building interventions to adults with mental health diagnoses.
- Teach and model daily living skills such as medication management, budgeting, hygiene, and communication.
- Support clients in achieving greater independence and improved functioning.
- Develop and implement service plans aligned with client needs and treatment goals.
- Complete all documentation accurately and on time in accordance with DMAS and agency requirements.
- Attend supervision and trainings as needed.
Requirements
- Must meet Virginia’s DBHDS criteria for QMHP or be registered as a QMHP-Trainee
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field required; Master’s preferred
- Experience working with adults with mental health needs
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients’ homes and community settings
