What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cost Analyst – Engineering position at SOFT INC?
SOFT's client located in South Plainfield, NJ is looking for a Cost Analyst - Engineering for a long term contract assignment.
The Cost Engineer should posses skills and expertise in the following areas:
- Cash flow management and project forecasting
- Cost per unit (CPU) analysis and quantity tracking and forecasting
- Variance reporting
- Ability to review estimate detail so variances can be explained at a detailed level
- Identification of risks to forecast and cash flow
- Stakeholder management within the Divisions
- Senior level
- Construction experience
- Town and Municipalities – Permitting
- Strong – SAP, and other project software
- 7 years of Project control experience
- Both field and home office experience is preferred
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Engineering
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work cross functionally and independently while being remote
- Knowledge of SAP and Excel
- Detail oriented
