Facilities Support Assistant

• Performs general maintenance duties: may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures. 
• Performs routine maintenance on building systems. 
• Assist in scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
• Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
• Performing basic plumbing tasks, which includes unclogging drains as well as fixing leaking faucets and toilets.
• Performs basic maintenance to outside area of the building 
• Assist with moving or set up of office furniture, equipment
•  
• Assist with fire and building inspectors. 
• Completing work order for SCC and RCM
• Complies with all approved procedures, directives and guidelines. 

High School or GED Diploma 

A minimum of 1-year experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry. Mechanical systems (including relevant equipment and tools) is a plus.

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and lift or move heavy equipment
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documents
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from supervisors
• May be required to work outside of normal work hours\
• The ability to handle multi-tasks. 
• The ability to define priorities and respond accordingly.
