Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to join our production team part-time. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating embroidery equipment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain commercial embroidery machines (e.g., Barudan),
- Set up machines according to job specifications, including thread colors, hoop sizes, and design placements.
- Monitor machine performance during operation, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area, including proper handling and storage of materials and finished goods.
- Ensure daily production goals and deadlines are met.
- Adhere strictly to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
Qualifications
- Experience required: Minimum 1 year operating embroidery machines in a production environment.
- Knowledge of embroidery software and file formats is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Compensation and Schedule
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 2 PM – 6 PM.
- Pay: $16–$19 per hour, depending on experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
