Job Responsibilities
- Adhere to health & safety and company policies at all times.
- Follow safety and environmental procedures and utilize required PPE.
- Never bypass or disconnect safety devices on equipment while in operation.
- Immediately address and report unsafe conditions to management.
- Participate in accident investigations as needed.
- Support Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP standards.
- Apply customer specifications to machine operation for quality compliance.
- Perform regular equipment audits to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Conduct quality checks with honesty and integrity.
- Report non-conforming products to shift supervisor and management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize contamination risks.
- Operate machinery at maximum efficiency.
- Set up equipment for optimal performance.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
- Strong mathematical skills for measurement and calculations.
Work Environment:
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in plant and warehouse areas.
- PPE includes safety shoes, eye and ear protection, reflective vests, and hairnets or hats.
- Variable temperatures in the plant/warehouse.
- Exposure to paper dust and noise levels requiring hearing protection.
