The planner is responsible for maintaining records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting maintenance-related matters to the Maintenance Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the point of contact and liaison between the maintenance, operations, and other designated departments.
- Create maintenance schedules, maintain parts inventory, and work closely with maintenance staff, contractors, and outside vendors.
- Responsible for completing regular analysis of backlogs related to available resources to adequately plan for short-term and long-term goals.
- Provide overall plans for supervisors to assist with pre-planning strategies for day-to-day and future work plans.
- Identify root causes and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitor CMMS reports.
- Promote a safety-bound corporate culture and apply the Corporate Principles and Values.
- A high school diploma or a GED with at least 5 years of applicable experience is required.
- Must possess basic computer skills – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, as well as worknindependently.
- Must have the ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines.
