The Role

SoFi is seeking a talented paid social intern to join the performance marketing team and help lead our acquisition efforts. As an intern of one of SoFi’s largest and most efficient channels, you will have a meaningful impact on the growth of the business. You will play a key role in analyzing data, finding trends, and developing strategies.

**The candidate must be available for the entire internship period:**

• Cohort 1: Monday, June 1st, 2026 to Friday, August 21st, 2026
• Cohort 2: Monday, June 15th, 2026 to Friday, September 4th, 2026
  
  

What You’ll Do

Campaign Monitoring & Optimization:

• Monitor and track performance against key quarterly goals, focusing on metrics like budget, efficiency (CPA/ROAS), and volume
• Ensure budget pacing is on track and aligns closely with established efficiency and volume targets
• Actively monitor spend and performance goals for various advertising campaigns across platforms like Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and emerging app channels
  
  

Data Analysis & Strategy

• Analyze campaign data to identify performance gaps and propose data-driven strategies and tactics to close them
• Derive actionable insights from marketing data to recommend strategic next steps for campaign improvement
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal teams, including Creative, Analytics, Engineering, and Compliance, to execute new tactics and ensure campaigns are launched effectively
• Support the overall user acquisition strategy for our products by assisting with campaign execution and optimization
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Enrolled in an accredited US-based university (working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or Spring 2027
• Must be returning to school for at least one quarter or semester after the internship
• Have no more than 12 months of professional full-time work experience (excluding internships and research assistant roles)
• Must be willing to relocate to San Francisco Bay Area and be available to work in the San Francisco HQ office at a hybrid capacity (2-3x a week)
