Role Description
This part-time or Full time, on-site Nurse Practitioner role is based in Hollywood, FL. The Nurse Practitioner will provide patient-centered care, including diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans. Responsibilities also include conducting physical exams, interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with physicians and health care teams to deliver comprehensive care. The practitioner will ensure high-quality treatment while maintaining a compassionate, detail-oriented approach to patient interaction.
Qualifications
- Clinical skills including patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment planning
- Strong decision-making and critical-thinking abilities to manage both acute and chronic health conditions
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
- Valid Nurse Practitioner certification and license to practice in Florida
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Nursing; advanced clinical training or specialization is a plus
- Previous experience in a Cardiovascular setting is preferred
