Position: Assembly and Panel Technician
Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Manufacturing Manager
Hourly Rate: $18 - $24 (Depending on Experience)
Additional Compensation: Bonuses
Role Summary
The Technician will be capable of learning detailed work and successfully building electrical enclosures. This position will require the ability to learn new skills and run automated machinery, along with being able to work to a high standard of excellence with minimal errors.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions

- Process and fulfill all build orders for electrical panels, wire, and boards
- Use the correct tools to fulfill the orders and maintain “copy-exact” across builds
- Assemble wire requirements to a high standard with minimal rework and extreme precision
- Follow instructions and feedback to ensure quality is kept high
- Demonstrates excellence, has a level of consistency that means few defects found across all builds
- Comprehend highly technical topics, rapidly learn new concepts and acquire product knowledge
- Works independently and within a team
- Complies with safety guidelines, protocols, and legal requirements

Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Minimum one year experience in a fast-paced environment working with clients and/or customers

Physical Requirements:

The job duties regularly require prolonged periods sitting at a desk or standing at a workbench. Walking throughout the building and grounds are also required. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; bend; use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Travel:
Travel mostly at the local level, but some occasional out of town travel is also required. A valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance on vehicle is required.
