What are the responsibilities and job description for the Permanent Building Substitute (Temporary) (ES) position at Sodus Central School District?
There is currently one (1) position that exists in our Elementary School. This position will support teacher absences as needed. The incumbent will work on all regular school days.
Note: There is a longevity incentive for substitute teaching.
50-74 full days = $300
75 - 99 full days = $400
100 full days = $500
Job Qualifications
- NYS Certification is required.
- Certifications for specific grade levels between PK - 3 are preferred but not required.
- Must be comfortable working with students.
- Ability to work independently, facilitate group dynamics, exercise good judgment and show initiative.
- Ability to make a commitment to academic excellence.
- Have an ability to communicate effectively with staff and students.
