Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for Class A Truck Drivers based out of Jeffersonville, IN. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently, following all traffic and safety regulations, completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensuring timely delivery of freight. Drivers will also maintain accurate records, interact professionally with customers, and assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary.
Qualifications
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in long-haul or local driving and knowledge of DOT regulations
- Proficiency in conducting vehicle inspections and ensuring maintenance of equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to comply with safety standards and operate vehicles safely and responsibly
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate paperwork
- Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading responsibilities, if needed
- Previous working experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
