As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Foreman / Dispatcher to help lead daily service operations and drive technician productivity within our high-volume service department.

About the Role

The Foreman / Dispatcher is responsible for overseeing shop workflow, dispatching repair orders, and ensuring technicians are operating efficiently and effectively. This position serves as a critical link between Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts Personnel, and Service Management.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with dealership service experience who can manage multiple priorities, support technician development, and help maximize shop productivity while maintaining high-quality repair standards.

Responsibilities

Assign and dispatch repair orders to technicians based on skill level, certifications, experience, and workload. Monitor technician productivity and shop efficiency throughout the day while balancing workflow to maximize department performance.

Coordinate communication between technicians, service advisors, parts personnel, and management to ensure repairs are completed accurately and on time. Assist with diagnostic direction and technical support when needed, while helping prioritize customer waiters, emergency repairs, warranty work, and comeback repairs.

Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness, monitor shop capacity, and help maintain efficient vehicle turnaround times. Support technician development through coaching, training, and leadership while ensuring compliance with Ford and dealership service standards.

Compensation

$60,000 – $100,000 annually based on experience, qualifications, and performance.

Qualifications

Previous automotive dealership experience is required. Previous experience as a Foreman, Dispatcher, Shop Foreman, Lead Technician, or Service Manager is preferred. Ford dealership experience is strongly preferred.

Candidates should possess strong diagnostic and technical knowledge, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced service environment. A strong understanding of dealership service operations and workflow management is required. A valid driver's license is also required.
