Role Description
This is a contract role for a Media Sales Executive based in southern Colorado, United States including candidates from Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Monument, and other geographically adjoining locales. The role includes meeting with potential clients to identify their media needs, presenting suitable advertising and media solutions, negotiating contracts, and building long-lasting relationships. Responsibilities also cover achieving sales targets, generating new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to meet client requirements.
We are seeking a friendly, area-knowledgable, relationship personality who understands sound business practices and ethics, basic finance, contracts, broadcast and publishing media advertising sales and fulfillment, sales cycles, buying decisions, value-based communications, networking, for a no-pressure regional advertising sales representative opportunity.
Qualifications

- Must live in El Paso County, Colorado south to Trinidad, CO, and have an active business network.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close deals and achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Must have insured, reliable private transportation and proof of insurance and must own laptop and/or desktop and cell phone.
- Understanding of digital analytics and key media measurements.
- Experience Minimum: 3-5 years previous magazine, digital and/or broadcast media sales experience.
- Proficiency in sales funnel management and reporting, renewal best practices, cross-selling into other media outlets.
- Knowledge of media sales, advertising strategies, and marketing trends.
- Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively pitch ideas to clients.
- Relationship management and client service abilities, with a focus on long-term business development.
- Experience in relevant fields such as media planning, advertising, or marketing is preferred
- Ability to work M-F from 8am to 5pm.
- Detail oriented order-contract and creative asset management.
- Full proficiency in Word, Excel, MS Teams, Outlook, PDF, PPT, and Publisher CRM software.
