In this role, you will strengthen our organization’s reputation and engagement by building meaningful relationships with community members and partners. What You’ll Do
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead community relations efforts across Memphis and surrounding suburbs, supporting strategic growth initiatives
- Establish and maintain favorable relationships with city and county commissions, government agencies, HOA organizations, and industry professionals
- Own the strategy and execution of revenue growth and market expansion initiatives, with clear alignment to business objectives
- Partner with business development, marketing, and sales teams to identify and pursue growth opportunities
- Initiate and grow strong relationships with prospective high-value clients
- ManageMemphis community events
- Media Relations
- Represent the company through media interviews, informational webinars, and speaking engagements
- Collaborate with Socket Fiber’s Marketing Team to shape and execute a cohesive, strategic approach across social, earned media, and press
- Work closely with leadership to understand competitive environments, business targets, market shifts and opportunities
To be considered for this role, you'll need the following required qualifications:
- 2 years in a public facing role
- Community outreach experience
- Ability to think strategically while managing detailed execution aligned with company goals
What Will Help You Stand Out
- Experience working in Telecommunications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public administration, business, marketing, or related field
- 2 years in leadership or supervisory role or relatable leadership responsibility
