Chesterton Academy of Saint Scholastica (CASS) in Fort Wayne, Indiana will launch its third academic year in August of 2026.
Situated in Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne is the second largest city in the state of Indiana. It is within a three hour drive of major cities including Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit, Toledo and Dayton. Fort Wayne has a newly revitalized downtown area, while maintaining a small town feel. The city and surrounding vicinity are known for their affordable, family-friendly atmosphere. The city and Diocese of Fort Wayne - South Bend are home to a strong Catholic community, many thriving parishes, and Catholic institutions such as the University of Saint Francis and Our Sunday Visitor, Inc. The city boasts an ever-developing network of biking trails, nearby lakes, parks, music (Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Bach Collegium, Sweetwater Sound) and minor league sports (baseball, hockey, and soccer).
For the 2026-2027 academic year, Chesterton Academy of St. Scholastica is looking for a full or part-time teacher primarily able to teach advanced mathematics & sciences, in addition to one or two Humanities courses, fine arts, Drama (able to stage a full-length play), or Latin.
Faculty/teachers sought: Mathematics (knowledge of Pre-Calculus, Chemistry, and Euclidean Geometry) and Science (knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, or Astronomy), with an additional ability to teach one or more classes in the following areas: Humanities (Theology, Literature, History, Philosophy), Choir, Drama, Fine Arts, or Latin.
Terms: Full-Time and Part-Time Employees
Experience: 2 Years preferred
Education: Undergraduate Degree
Base Pay: Salary plus benefits stipend

Qualifications
- Must be practicing Roman Catholic who is eager to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church
- Bachelor's Degree (Required); Master's Degree (Preferred)
- 2 years of experience in secondary school teaching or administration (Preferred)
- 2 years teaching experience in a classical school environment (Preferred)
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
