Job Overview
SocialSoule is a social media marketing agency focused on helping brands grow through strategic content, social media marketing, and digital storytelling. We're looking for a Part-time Social Media Coordinator who is passionate about marketing and social media in this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the development, editing, and refinement of various content pieces across multiple platforms.
What You'll Do
As our Social Media Coordinator you MUST be located in Kansas City metro area, you'll help support client projects by:
- Researching TikTok, Instagram, and social media trends
- Finding trending audio, content ideas, and creative inspiration
- Assisting with content planning and strategy
- Scheduling out client content
- Supporting content shoots and helping ensure everything runs smoothly
- Editing short-form videos in CapCut and Canva
- Organizing project files and content assets
Production & Events:
- Provide on-camera support for internal (Socialsoule) and external (client) content as needed, including at client photoshoots
- Assist with client photoshoots and events, including shot list and prop prep, setup/breakdown on shoot days, and packing/shipping client materials
Qualifications
You don't need years of agency experience. You do need to genuinely love creating content. We're looking for someone who:
- Is Chronically on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube Shorts,
- Comfortable receiving feedback and eager to learn
- Has a flexible schedule for weekday and occasionally weekend content shoots

- Strong problem-solving skills; resourceful in finding answers independently

Skills & Tools:
- Experience editing video in CapCut to produce polished, social-optimized content
- Experience designing in Canva to create visually consistent, on-brand graphics
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs)
- Comfortable on camera
- Strong grasp of the social media landscape, including trends and content opportunities
Project Management:
- Able to project manage with an eye toward ROI and impact
- Strong multitasker who stays productive working independently or as part of a team
- Skilled at juggling multiple clients and projects simultaneously and is able to successfully manage several moving pieces at once, not just multitask across them
