About Socialry:
Socialry is a social media marketing company that has been helping businesses in eastern North Carolina for over 5 years. Our services include content strategy / planning, content creation, editing, organic distribution / engagement, and paid advertising. We dominantly help home services showcase their projects through photography, video, timelapse, and drone work. Socialry has helped businesses across multiple industries raise brand awareness, build community, gain trust, and grow sales.
The Role:
This is a position combining social media expertise with business development savvy. You will not only create and manage content for us and some of our clients, but also build relationships, generate leads, and help us expand Socialry's impact. You’ll thrive in this role if you love storytelling, strategy, outreach, and seeing small businesses succeed. This position would report directly to Jack, the Owner. Specifically, you would help with content strategy, content production (photo, video, graphics), editing, and posting. When not behind a computer, camera, or phone, you would be out around Wilmington at a local networking event chit chatting with local business professionals.

Responsibilities
Social Media Specialist:
- Develop, schedule, and manage creative content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Youtube, etc.
- Build and execute client content calendars aligned with brand voice and marketing goals
- Collaborate with executive team on graphic, video, and short-form content production
- Analyze social media performance and adjust strategies for engagement and growth
- Stay current with social trends, platform updates, and content best practices
Business Development Representative:
- Identify and research potential new clients in key industries
- Conduct outbound outreach via social media, email, and networking
- Set meetings and assist in the client onboarding process
- Represent Socialry Marketing at virtual and occasional in-person events
- Help refine sales materials and outreach strategies based on feedback and data
Qualifications
Ideal Candidate:
- 2 years experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing
- 1 years experience in sales, lead generation, or business development
- Strong writing, communication, and creative skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Passion for entrepreneurship, small business growth, and digital storytelling
