Job description
Social Vocational Services (SVS) is an innovative day program that serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to provide training & support necessary for those who participate in the services to achieve their social, recreational, vocational & residential goals.
DSP Position Purpose: To provide vocational and/or skills training to persons with developmental disabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist client in selecting realistic goals and objectives.
* Assess, evaluate, implement and chart client’s progress on goals and objectives.
* Pick-up and drop-off clients according to written schedules.
* Record data and maintain field books.
* Provide constant supervision to clients.
* Participate in clients’ planning team to develop goals, objectives and natural supports.
* Care givers are Mandated Abuse Reporter

Driving and License Requirements: Must have a good driving record and a valid California Driver’s License. May be required to drive 9 passenger van.
Criminal Record Clearance: Must obtain Department of Justice/FBI fingerprint clearance prior to hire.
